Add your licence key to MIX

The quickest way is the button in your licence email. It opens a page on our site with your key filled in. Click Open MIX, and MIX checks the key online and opens Studio B.

The first time you click Open MIX, your browser asks for permission to open the app. Allow it.

If MIX doesn’t open

1. Open MIX.
2. Click the Settings button, or press ⌘,.
3. Paste the key into the licence field.

What a key looks like

A licence key starts with SSMX-, followed by five groups of five letters and numbers, for example SSMX-8ZC4K-7Q2M8-XHTBP-4WNE3-ZRF9B. You don’t have to worry about upper and lower case or the dashes when you paste it.

A Mac without internet

If the Mac with MIX has no internet, you can use a licence file instead. It’s attached to your licence email, and you can also download it from the page the email links to.

1. Copy the file, licence.txt, to the Mac without internet.
2. In Finder, press ⇧⌘G and paste this path: ~/Library/Application Support/Stereosonic Labs/MIX/
3. Put the file in that folder, then open MIX.
