What MIX sends to us

MIX never sends us anything about your mixes, your files, or how you use the app.

With a licence

MIX checks in with our licence server when it starts and every hour while it is running. It sends:

• your licence ID
• a hashed identifier for your Mac
• the version of MIX you run
• whether you have signed up for the newsletter on this Mac

We use this to see how many Macs a licence is used on, and to avoid asking you to sign up for a newsletter you already get.

Every time MIX starts

MIX checks for updates by fetching a small file from our download server. Without a licence or a beta ID, it also asks whether we have a message for everybody. Neither request contains anything about you, your Mac, or your licence.
